Reham
Reham Ibrahim, a graphic designer, fashion designer and mixed media artist, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design from the American University of Sharjah in June 2004. Her passion at first was in the film industry, where she won a Special Jury Prize for Best Student Film “Them” at the Emirates Film Competition in 2003, but then realized she was more into “independent art and fashion”.
She started her own fashion line Toksic with the following in mind: “I believe that people can express their individuality through the way they dress up, their behavior and their attitude, and this is what the Toksic brand is all about. It’s about individuality. Uniqueness. Being confident and courageous. Dressing up in bold colors and loud prints. Getting attention. Getting the killer-look; the look that "kills".”
She currently has an ongoing exhibition of a few Toksic items at MORE Murooj Rotana, as well as a few digital media paintings from her first collection: “Vibrant colors. Ethnic prints. Expressive Mannequins. Those are the key elements in this collection, inspired by Toksic”. Mixed media paintings from her second collection, where she was experimenting with photography, digital art and acrylic on canvas, are on display at MORE Gold & Diamond Park where “Feminine Gracefulness” is the key element.
Reham is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Nakheel Design Group.
