I am originally from the Philippines and have been living in Dubai for almost 8 years now. I work as an Aquarium Specialist at a hotel in The Palm Island.

I am mainly a self taught artist although i have attended a few art classes when i was growing up and i have always been in love with the creative process at a very young age.

I believe that all of us has a unique talent, painting is my gift and by continuing to paint and do what i do is how i show my appreciation to what i have been given. I get my inspiration mostly from everything....from the people that i meet, places that i have been to, things that i have seen and from daily experiences too.

Before i start a painting, i would look at my canvas and i would tell myself that what i wanted to paint is already there, i just need to reveal it and i do that with every stroke of my brush and with every mixture of paint that i use. For me, revealing something that is already there requires considerably less effort because it already exists. It is more like excavating than building. I want my work to spark an idea or awaken an emotion of the viewer. At the moment i am doing a series of paintings about this city...I am in love with this place and it has given me so much and it continues to do so. I would like to capture the essence of this city and the beauty of its people on my canvas. 

Painting is my passion and i dream of doing this full time.
